Light Extension Bright Extension

This 2 bedroomed Victorian home took approximately 3 months to complete and was a pleasure to work on. The young couple wanted to update their east London property to maximise, modernise and extend their living spaces. The kitchen is a Plykea kitchen and the birch ply wooden furniture such as the kitchen window bench with storage are bespoke pieces designed and built by London Dream Building. The kitchen is fitted with fantastic high end fixtures and utilities such as the Range Master in order that the homeowners can use the home for daily life and also to entertain! The main design motif throughout is that of minimalist Scandinavian style with a touch of mid century modern in the living area. The dining table in the living area is a high end piece shipped from Sweden. London Dream Building maximised the use of space and remodelled the under-stairs area to hide kitchen utilities such as the washer dryer. The contemporary bathroom nods to the history of the property’s Victorian character. The stand alone roll top bath, WC and sink have been paired with chic contemporary metro tiles to juxtapose old and new styles.
